GETTING AROUND

Aswan is a compact city, so getting around is simple and convenient, Walking is a great option for exploring attractions like the Corniche and local markets. Taxis are readily available but make sure that you agree on a price before starting your journey. Traditional felucca boats offer a scenic way to travel along the Nile, perfect for visiting nearby islands or enjoying a peaceful cruise. You can also join a public ferry for an inexpensive way to visit Elephantine Island or the Nubian villages.
