where a child friendly tour is available if booked in advance or visit The
Mummification Museum in Luxor to learn more about this spooky but fascinating
process. A trip to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo is a must, here they will find
all sorts of treasures waiting to be uncovered including a Lego version of the
Pyramids! Another great way to experience Egypt’s sights and
sounds is to jump aboard a felucca and take a short cruise down the Nile River.
BELOW WATER
The Red Sea is the perfect place to learn to scuba dive,
in many locations the sand shelves gently into stunning
house reefs where a myriad of colourful fish and pretty
corals can be seen. Smaller children can have a go at
snorkeling, and a trip in a glass bottomed boat is an
experience for the whole family where you may even spot
a pod of dolphins go by. For quieter days enjoy the long
sandy beaches where you can lay back and relax whilst the
little ones run off some steam
clambering over sand dunes before cooling off in the sea.
